The mission of the Wisconsin Association of Directors of Volunteer Services is to promote and advance effective volunteer management in health care facilities and to provide educational and professional development opportunities to its members.
WADVS fulfills its mission by:
Developing and maintaining standards and guidelines for quality-based volunteer services administration.
Providing educational programming and informational resources to meet the needs of the professionals responsible for volunteer services administration.
Promoting the sharing of information and resources between the Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals
(http://www.ahvrp.org) and WADVS regional groups.
Collaboration with other organizations that offer support to health care facilities.
